And well this page is here so you don't have to ask me anymore ^_~... 

This is almost "exclusively" an English guide.
Why? cause this is where I am from and I know how hard it is now to get Anime & Manga over here >_< !
Buuut... Most of the companies I deal with ship internationally!

:: Looking for Special titles? ::
Anyone looking for anything by Mamiya Oki then I have some GOOD NEWS!!! Go to the Jpqueen link below and type 'Mamiya Oki' into their search bar... and BOOM! everything your heart could ask for... almost :P

If you have any experience with other online distributors, and give them nothing but good praise then please e-mail me and tell me what you think of them and where they are based and their URL...

 Local Comic Book Shops
Look in the phone book if all else fails, or word of mouth, most of them are tucked away down back allies, University cities always seem to carry these kind of shops. But some of them will not stock Manga.
Special mention to "Travelling Man" in Leeds Corn Exchange!

 FP - Forbidden Planet
This is a high street store, the best one I've found is in Manchester.
The one in Newcastle is just above the station... 
They carry a good range of Manga and some Anime, also carry other Japanese merchandise.

Virgin Megastars & HMV
Both of these used to carry large sections on Anime, but since that side of the industry is now underground again in England their stock is limited and almost impossible to find.

These sell American DVD's and VHS at the cheapest prices I've found, with decent P&P prices. They also stock a HUGE amounts of Manga.
I've never had a complaint with these guys though they're still sorting out their secure online payments system. Great online catalogue and ordering system, or you can phone them to order things...
Be warned though, this is mostly a "Fury" distributor, Look at Publishers below to find what your looking at this site.


These guys sell 2nd hand manga's, Art book and anything else you could want, Their prices are good, they tell you how much shipping will be, and they are fast! Almost specialising in Yaoi & Shonen-ai titles.
Kudos to Jpqueen! Who I hope sends me my latest order ASAP *grins*
They are based in Japan and distribute anywhere!
These guys sell Mamiya Oki Manga's!!! they sell anything really ^_^


Believe it or not but amazon.co.uk has started selling your average Manga Graphic novels, nothing special...
I will say here they I prefer to deal with OTHER online companies and get my manga off of the local comic book shops. Amazon may be the easiest people to get manga's off but I prefer to give my cash to smaller exclusive companies.

No complaints as what they used to be like...

:: Auctions = ::
 e-bay is Mecca to anime, artbooks and anime merchandise - everything you could almost want is here and you can almost always get it cheep...
Just be weary of Postage & Packing prices, if unsure check, and of unscrupulous dealers, also make sure you have a means of paying for your auction!
Most 'non English' European auctions may be cheep but they hardly ever use pay-pal, look first.

Do not by any manga from e-bay, I find them vastly over priced and the P&P can be shocking if shipping from the US. Use one of the links above for getting them from Japan or here in the UK... Or find an online store in the US, of which there are many.
 

:: Manga Publishers ::
(English Translators)

 
These distributors came from obscurity, shadowed by VIZ and are now the best translators of Manga there is!
They print some of the best titles out there, and unlike other distributors, they are fast with their publications. Now they also print manga's as close to their original Japanese releases as possible, They also don't "reverse" some of their titles, and it actually makes for better reading, also leaving the original Japanese sound effects in, instead of editing them out poorly... Other companies should learn by their example.
They are also releasing most of the CLAMP titles!

 I only have one title by this company (Blade of the Immortal) That they made a hash out of... But I have no idea about their other manga titles, either visit their website or go to United Publication and see what they have

I found this company by chance. They are a company based in Singapore, I don't know anyone that distributes there manga's but they assure me they are working on their site to distributing, please pester them for more info! Their translations are also astounding!!!
Titles; 'Saiyuki Reload' and 'SlamDunk' and more.

 
Please feel free to write to Viz and tell them bitterly again and again that you are sooooo not happy with the new look the have put on long running old series... 
Though they are now trying to compete with Tokyopop who's have been more loyal to their customers, by bringing out smaller and crapper quality manga... They also now seem to be listening to what we want instead of ignoring us and giving us what they THINK we want... 
I'm not taking the link down cause well, they were the first manga publishing's to still be around after years.
(To English peep's, this has nothing to do with that nasty comic book Viz with the fat slag's in ok ^_^) 

 Fairly new in the publishing industry of manga, printing the "Record of Lodoss War" titles that should have been done years ago. not much to offer... again look at United Publications catalogue for more titles.

They printed "New Vampire Miyu" - They print some more Manga titles and other things, but they haven't printed anything else that I would want to buy, more for the concerning male of the manga peeps.

Well that's all folk's... so now you know where I get most of my manga, anime and Art books from.

Please remember that most of the stuff on my site was not scanned by me, but got from other peoples websites, so you wont be able to find everything you want off of these distributors.
