Review:
This is a wonderful combination of Manga and Anime art mixed together in bright full page colour... This art book basically runs like a quick summery of the Manga series, showing where the Anime ties in or where it slightly differs... It also has the full coloured pages that are grey scaled in the English and Japanese manga! as well as the chapter illustration also in full colour on there own page... Almost all of the images are by Rumiko and the whole thing is laid out like a manga. It also has promotional Illustrations all by Rumiko. The colour anime chara design is of the Anime chara, and this is not to say they aren't nice, the artist has stuck VERY close to Rumico's own chara's. It also has snippets of the beginning and end seines I think... There is an interview with the voice actors and I think one of the key animators or background artist's I'm not sure... Then there is the wonderful Rumiko black and white chara design for all the main chara...
This book just knocked me away, Rumiko was one of my first loves when it comes to Manga, I love her simple line manga! I thought Ranma 1/2 was good but I love Inu-Yasha, And Rumico's women/girls just rock, she just makes them so real and you cant but help fall in love with her true to life chara in some wacky adventure! I love her art and I love her stories! She has a wicked sense of hummer that cracks me up and a sense of comic timing that out matches anything else I've ever read... Where as Ranma 1/2 seems to have no end of hummer, Inu-Yasha has hummer when it's needed but holds a darker serious note that just warms your heart as it makes you laugh... but that's the manga... This book rocks! it's as simple as that.

Review:
WOW, this one kind of fell onto me from good friends... I've never heard of the artist before or know anything about them... but if you love Angels especially, want to see the best Mermaid images I've ever had the privilege to lay eyes on, if you like that old gothicy feel aristocracy images. or you just want to see some original Fantasy images that will just blow you away... then you HAVE to find and keep this book!
All the images are in soft blue tones, you also have the finished pieces and the rough sketches, all are large and there is very little texed to get in the way of the illustrations if any... Again this is for any Angel censures, the figure work is just astounding and each image has a mood and look of it's own, the emotions that shine through this work has you staring at a page for ages!

I imagine the availability of this book is almost non existent, though if you email A&L they might be able to help you out with getting this book....

Review:
I saw this and recognised Kojima Ayami's work, (also the artist that did the artwork for Dracula X). it contained two illustration that I've only got 2 crappy gifs for. Anyhoooo...

Review: this is not an art book per-say, more of a 'How Too'. On each artist listed their is a small gallery then a step by step photo guide as to what they are doing and with what medium. I cant read a word of text but the photo's are so well put together you don't really need to read anything (I never read how-to Art books anyway ^_~) There are a few pages in back that I guess you could rip out and colour in yourself if you were so possessed...
I liked this book!

Review:
This is the artbook for Harukanaru Toki no Nakabe, (I think it might have some images from other manga's by the artist but I'm not sure) I've not read the manga but to me it looks like it might be something like Fushigi Yugi, with lots of really nice looking guys (all with stones somewhere on their person) who all seem to revolve around one pathetic looking school girl... Not like that is going to stop is drooling at the guys...
The artwork is pretty standard but the colour work is just wonderful, clear with good poses.

This book is how Artbooks should be... no text at all other than on the last page ^_^ all images are full colour and the black and white are great as well...
Also anyone a fan of "The Heroic Legend of Arislan" (or how ever it's spelled) you will love this, the artwork is very detailed and oozing with bright colours... there is nothing I can really say about this artbook other than to buy it if you like the front cover, you will NOT be disappointed with it's exhalent!
This book is also printed Left to right!

Review:
This is a very soft coloured artbook, the images have an almost dream like quality to them, I cant name some of the manga in this book unfortunately, but if you like the cover then you will like the rest.
It has a feel of Kamimura Sachiko (above) but with the softness of Kaimu Tachibana (below), it's another book that you really cant be disapointed with.
I bought it on a whim and I'm glad I did! it's very pretty and awe inspiring!

Review:
These illustrations are great, full colour pages. The chara are a little young looking for my liking with HUGE eyes, boys and girl... but there is no faulting the artist's skill.
Some really nice touches are double pages with the original colour images at one side, and a clean cut anime style image at the other, it's just fascinating! even the Black & White work is exhalent and very well presented!
This books is a must for anyone! I love it ^_^

Review:
My first thoughts on this book is "beautiful" from the cover to the last page, boys with large sparkling eyes and soft long hair (or short), wonderful pastel colours that are bright and vibrant but with a strange calming quality ^_^
I'm not over reviewing this artbook, all you have to do it look at the cover, and if you like what you see... GET IT! I don't know anything about the manga it represents, but that's really not a hindrance ^_^
Also this book comes with a 4 page pull out...

Review:
I think this is a collection of all Kaimu Tachibana's works... it's rather dated in style, but that's nothing to worry about if you like the cover art... Also this book impressed me at the lack of Black & White work it doesn't have, all the 100 pages are nothing but stunning colour images, most of them full colour and very nice. the 8 B&W pages are just image info and some text ^_^

There are also quite a few illustrations from 'Troopers" an anime/manga I keep seeing about the place in the yaoi-fandom communities, thought I don't know enough about it.
