Review: This is a game chara design book for Meine Liebe on the
Game Boy I assume... This book is how I would love all Game books to be, but
then we cant have everything. What attracted me to this art book was seeing
"Kaori Yuki", I confess I have no idea what the game is or ever heard
of it, but if your just another Kaori Yuki Otaku then you HAVE to have this
book... Yuki's chara design mostly looks the same from manga to manga but in
this book there are a few that surprised me!
Wonderful full colour illustrations, Most illustrations are large or clear, no
teeny annoying thumbnails. The chara illustration pages also have from original
line drawing to full colour and then how they look in-game, a very nice touch.
Also has original B&W line drawing and the first and final incarnation full
colour, full page chara design for each chara. Text story in Japanese with nice
B&W illustrations. The hole book has a very Elegant Gothic feel. All
into/into text pages have beautiful graphics, all fonts are also beautifully graphically
presented.
**** = A MUST buy for anyone into this Artist/Manga/Anime

Review: my first word on this book... WOW!!!... Almost nothing
but the best images from Kaori Yuki!... This book is mostly " Angel
Sanctuary " illustrations, as well as " Count Cain ", "
Kaine " and a whole bunch more that I have no idea... Nearly all these
images you can find online, but most of them (including the ones in my Kaori
Yuki gallery) are of poor quality, and most of the REALLY nice ones are HUGE in
this book!... The cover Illustration of this book is also inside, but is
slightly different, on the cover the ice pick is just resting againced the
cheek, but on the inside it's cutting, a pit of PC license was used here I
think, the cover also has lovely Gold and Silver embossing and highlights (the don't
show up on my scan, I don't have a light box scanner >_<)... There is also
a nice silver transparent page on the inside (ya I'm a sucker for that to!)...
And for anyone that can read Japanese there is a long interview with the Artist
herself...
My mum (who hates manga of any kind) loved this book... despite bitching about
the "spoke legs" as she calls them, I think she might have been polite
cause she knows my love of anything with wings and the hair ^_^...
