I know this is a main stream manga in the western Yaoi fan world... but I have to give it a mention. Why? Cause I adore the Artwork! it's mager hard core and very illegal in a number of countries and stated ^_^

The Main story is around two actors, Iwaka (the dark haired Uki) and Kato (the blond Semi) and their lives as they try to find job's while getting over each others hang ups and having very hot and steamy sex ant ANY opportunity...

And that's about all the summery you need ^_^, it's more involved than that, but then that's the fun of reading it. As I said the Artwork is wonderful, nice simple lines... my only hang up is that Nitta's chara design is very limited and sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between chara... but who cares? if you like the style then this isnt a problem ^_^

a must for any Yaoi collection.

Translation - The Text Translation cant be FOUND from Aestheticisum.com, just look in their translation link section, also it's been scanlated by many different people, and can be found all over the shop :P

This is a beautiful manga! set in the Georgian period with enough cravats, poets shirts and tight fitting waist coats for anyone, with nice fit guys to go in it all! If you drooled over Brad Pitt in Interview with a Vampire your gonna just love this!
I can only guess at the plot seen as it's not been translated yet. but as far as I can tell, the Blond is a well-ta-do Lord ling who finds himself falling in love with the Dark haired Artist, not that he exactly LIKE's the idea, but he comes round with enough persuading and sex.
The costume design is just spot on and unbelievably eye popping!

The 2nd volume contains a mini story called 'Sore wa Tenshi no Herikutu' set in the 'Three Musketeers' period and is just SO worth a mention! You should get it just for this little manga :P

All in all this is one of my all time fave manga art, and anyone should give it a look if you like the style.

I got into this title with the Scanlation, and where it's not normally something I would choose, the artwork sometimes being a little amateurish, and School boys getting off with men... buuuut, it's VERY well written and you cant help but squeal with joy and heart ache when you read it.
The main storyline is based around a members only male date club, The Blue Boy. but each volume is based around separate couples getting together with some connection to the club in one way or another. But the two main chara's in the manga is Rriji Aoe and Naoya (not my favourite at the start, but you end up just falling in love with them both and desperately wanting them to FINALLY get together.) *My favourite couple is Izumi and Arashi (grins)*
I recommend this manga to everyone, it's yaoi enough to keep even the most harden hentai interested, and sweet enough for the most innocent of us... Great story line that just keeps you screaming for the next part!... The text translation is just wonderful and used to do the Scanlation...
I love this... so should you!

There are 2 short stories in this book... But the only one that is artistically worthy and the only one to be translated as far as I know is Kaine/ Endorphins.
From the other books I have I think Kaori is a closet Shonen-ai/Yaoi artist. Her work just rocks! and her stories are a little strange and must be a bit of a nightmare to translate! But Endorphins is a strange manga. Out of all the books I have by Kaori, This is the best artwork... mostly cos the main chara has great long hair! and it's male!
The story opens on a young man with long red hair in a hospital bed, he was involved in a car accident with his twin Brother who didn't survive and spent that last few months in a coma. But the thing is his brother was the red head and the lead singer in a Rock band Endorphins. The company put a lot of money into his brother Kaine and they want their investment paid off, even if it means using the twin. Kaine isn't to impressed with this but their is nothing he can do... As the story unfurls, Kaine and his best friend and band member find out that Endorphins isn't just another Rock Band that inspires troupes of screaming fan-girls. Together they must find out what is going on behind the seines of their band while Kaine must figure out just who he is now...
This story has an ending that will leave you in dumb silence, then reading it again just to make sure you didn't miss anything!

I first got into this manga after reading a fan Scanlation of it, it's very cute in a strange kind of way. How a very powerful demon "Blood" fell in love with a geeky human "Ishuca" (well he thinks he's the living dead)... Sounds sappay and well it is in a round about way but it's really good and the artwork is just lovely...
Basically Blood was sealed away in a cave and held in place by ice, the only way to free himself was to find a jewel that is formed by a tear... but after centuries of killing those stupid enough to enter the cave, a boy, unafraid for his own life, finally shows Blood that there is more to living than just killing...
But that's all I'm going to say, this is a must read or oggle for anyone even thought only 4 volumes have been translated... It's also extremely long, I'm not sure how many volumes their are, but it's not funny, I'll collect them over time :P

Volumes 8 & 9 have a great little side story of Wild and Rapunzel, Who help Blood and Ishuca in their travels. To be honest I read this bit of the manga years ago as a Scanlation on it's own and didn't think it was actually part of the ICDT... I don't think the Scanlation is around anymore, and I cant remember where I found it... Link when I do, or more info of where to get it now...

The artwork on this is very close to Bohra Naono's and just astounding for a good ogle at lost of really well toned masculine bods drawn to perfection! Get your drool buckets ready people!

This Review contains HUGE spoilers, but is a quick synopsis for anyone who's doesn't have the Translation.

It's set at some kind of tribal era (Prehistoric keeps popping to my mind) anyhow, Yuuen (the Uki) is useless at hunting for his tribe, so his farther asks him to don a dress and get close to the son of their rival tribe in hopes that they might join forces to save his own starving tribe. Not only does Yuuen feel stupid he finds himself feelings for the tall dark and hansom Emba (The hot dood on the leopard skin on the cover), the only thing is Emba knows who he is and also has feelings for him, but he doesn't want to let on... It all comes to a head after Yuuen is attacked by a crocodile and Emba Saves him. Yuuen find he can no longer go on deceiving such a kind person, and knows he has to stop seeing him. But Emba isn't happy about this after just confessing his love, so he confronts Yuuen (as a man) and his farther, Yuuen's farther isn't happy by this, but let's Emba take Yuuen away for some sweet luvin! Soon after both tribes join together... During the ceremony Emba takes Yuuen off and and tell him his body may belong to the land, but his soul belongs to Yuuen and always will...
The next chapter we leave Emba and Yuuen and skip back in time to when both their fathers were younger, Yuni (Yuuen's Dad) goes in search of the 'Flower of Vows' it's so hard to find that when you offer it to someone it's like a marriage proposal. Yuni ends up falling down a cliff and finds himself being bandaged up by a tall Dark stranger, Selem (Emba's Dad). Selem is taking a brake from his tribe when he found Yuni. Yuni is stubborn but eventually find that he likes Selem when one day someone from Selem's tribe comes a calling and he finds out that Selem is the next chief of the rival tribe, and he isn't happy. But after a tiff they finally get it on. Then Yuni leaves to go home, but before he does Selem gives him a Flower of Vows.
There is a small bit at the end with Emba, Yuuen and Yuuen's Brothers little son in a pool that's very cute. Yuuen's elder brother and Emba's sister are married and Selem and Yuni are finally back together...

This story is full of the warm fussies with the pledges that everyone confesses to each other, of true love and passion and just had me grinning like a fool :P... I love this story! a must for any Yaoi fans, nothing to graphic, but wonderful love seines as well as hugging and kissing for the world!

I'm going to rant about this lot of manga's... why? CAUSE THEY ARE SO DARN GOOOOD!!!!!!!

The main chara gets thrown about through time and space to (I think) save peoples lives, or to make them at least happier before they die... hell I don't know WHY he does it, he just does...
But he's not totally alone, inside him is the soul of a four winged Swan, a white Wolf with an attitude, a Chinese dragon, there's also some kind of fish, but that's only glimpsed in one manga and then one personality we haven't seen... Either these entities can compactly take him over, or he can use parts of them, sometimes he flies around with 4 wings or totters about with a wolfs head.

I would love to know what's truely going on in this manga cause you can only get so much from the wonderful artwork... thought it is charming and beautiful, something completely different and I've not seen it before in a manga or any story I've read, some splashing of mythology, skipping from ancient Egypt to the far future then back to Aztect and skipping over to China...

Get this manga!!! it's not Yaoi, but it is just WONDERFULL!!!!!!

This one is kind of the bad demon Westerners meet the innocent Easterners...
It's strange and I cant make much sense of it without a translations, it's set in kind of feudal Japan maybe... or should I say set about mid 18th century...

The cover might look a little to lines and bad quality, but that's cause the paper it's printed on it kind of like thick water colour paper that's highly textured... it's very nice ^_^

I always hesitated about getting this, mostly cause I hate anything to popular (and lets face it in the Yaoi web world, if you haven't got this you cant hold you head up :P) and two, cause I was never really enamoured with the artwork... but hell... as the manga goes on it just keeps getting better and better :P
Trying to find the translations is a nightmare at the moment, there are some really good ones, but *sigh* I think this series has been out just a little to long...

DO NOT BUY THIS MANGA!

It's the only manga I've EVER destroyed on sight... there was nothing redeemable in it, kid's being done by everyone doesn't turn me on at all... Do not buy! don't be fooled by the nice cover... all my scruples were hit in this book, also almost anywhere you could be arrested for just owning this excuse for a manga.

you have been warned, take heed! don't even be curios, your wasting your money!
