Ok so I have some colour in this gallery just to ruin the
whole feel I'm trying to create.
There may be spoilers in the text, but sorry for that, I've just read the synopsis
of the first 10 Volumes,
and don't actually own any manga's of it myself >_< *cries* so if I get
something wrong.. sorreeee!
Though since the Move I have watched some of the Anime
episodes so most of the text beneath will be
changed, cause I finally have some personal experience of what the show is all
about ^_^

Tsuzuki Asato
At first Tsuzuki appears to be your normal masculine hero, until
he grows puppy ears and gets all gooey over sweets... He IS one of the strongest
Shinigami in the whole of Heaven, but he is blindingly naiveté to this fact and
everyone want to keep it that way, with his tendency for taking down buildings
and small town without thinking about it he basically works for free.
When on the Job or in situations where he has to take control he is intelligent
and brilliant, but get Muraki making advances or someone with sweets he's not
eating and he get's clueless and innocent... He just wants to make everyone
happy, so the job he now has in the after life probably isn't the best thing for
him. The reasons behind his death are still unclear.
He's got bright Purple eyes and controls 10 or 12 demons that help him fight demons
and the bad guys. He kind of loves (platonically so far) his new partner, Hisoka.
But almost everyone else loves him, it's hard not to! but his main love and the
way to his heart is Sweets and puddings of any kind.

Hisoka Kurosaki
At first Hisoka seems hard, distant and uncaring, he is a new
Shinigami and was partnered with Tsuzuki. But just when you think he's a complete
bastard being mean to Tsuzuki you find out that he's Empathic, and not only can
he sense emotions from people, if they touch him he gets a direct download. His parents
when he was alive found this out and locked him away, so he trusts no one.
He died of a mysterious disease, though he know he was killed but didn't know
how and so he becomes an Angel of death to find his murderer, in the first two
episodes of the Anime he finds out that he saw Muraki killing a woman and then
he placed a curse on him, basically raping him is doing it. the curse sucked his
life from him.
Though he doesn't like showing it, he cares a lot for Tsuzuki and almost
respects him. Also with his large green eyes and being one of the youngest
Shinigami at only 16 everyone kind of treats him like a kid, though he seems old
for his age and is the balancing factor of Tsuzuki's innocence.

Watari Yutaka
Watari is the mad
scientist in the story and acts it. He also helps out in solving cases and seems
a dab hand at demonology. He's one of Tsuzuki's best friends who doesn't want to jump his bones.
In the manga he also uses Tsuzuki to try out his concoctions and potions.
I have to say Watari is one of my favorite chara, he's one of those people with
blinding intelligence but spends most of the time being scatty and Blond.
PS: in the dubbed anime, they give him the voice of James from Team Rocker which
sucks.

Tatsumi Seiichirou
This guy is their Boss, not the top guy but he
does not like to spend any cash, and likes to keep Tsuzuki's pay.
He was once Tsuzuki's partner, but left him cos he didn't like to see him so
unhappy... Well that's not what he tells ppl :P

Muraki Kazutaka
Muraki is the main bad guy in the story, though he's not
really the one their ever after.
When this guy isn't trying to seduce Tsuzuki , he's trying to experiment on
him... He's also a doctor who I think has lost the plot a little, but as always
we can blame it on his upbringing... He maybe hansom, but he's an evil bunny!
