Saiyuki Spellings & Names

Ok... so this is just a little page dedicated to my pet hate... Translated name spelling...
People start spelling names a hundred different way's and if your way isn't their way then be prepared for those nasty little bitch mail's.
Well I haven't got any for this site yet but I'm used to um ^_^ So I just thought I would put it down in words now what where and why.

All name's on this site are from official Saiyuki info and art books...

Saiyuuki - Some website's spell the name like this, I use the way it's spelled on the Japanese manga

For anyone who's watched and remembers the old Japanese show called 'Monkey', then this is for you, because that plot line was taken from the same book as Saiyuki, 'Journey to the West', and here are the names that were lost in translation. On the resent DVD releases they have some of the 2nd series un-dubbed, and you can hear then use the right names in the original Japanese, so here is a quick translations for the names.

Tripitaca = Sanzo

Monkey = Goku

Pigsy = Hakkai

Sandy = Gojyo
