Thick
and juicy even if you don't like modern Yakuza manga ^_^
This isn't totally a 'boy' story, lots of Yaoi undertones! weeee |

The Story: The 1st
volume concentrates on Makoto Kubota, as he get's caught up in the Yakuza,
or it should be the Yakuza get caught up in him. We find out that Kubota
isnt someone you want noticing you, cause he doesn't much care for people,
infact he doesn't much care for anyone or anything, that is until one of
his friends is killed and he finds another in Tokito, a young man he
picked up out of an alleyway with no memory and a feral looking right
hand. They both get caught up in the search and cause of a new drug in the
street that turns people into animals, not just figuratively but
physically. The drug is called Wild Adapter or WA, and both are deeply
involved, but for different reasons.
Mostly this is a thick storyline, oozing with sinister intent while
keeping a light overtone that makes you chuckle, the characterisation is
as thick and smooth as the plot it's self and you cant help but love or
hate all the chara in it.

Keep buying this manga in
English!!! |
|
Is there a difference in the
printing? |
The
only difference is the size of the manga, other than that it's very well
done. |
|
What the Translation like? |
As
always Tokyopop's done a great job ^_^ |
|
Is there anything else? |
This
is a manga that's heavy on the ink, all the pages have black backgrounds,
that's normally only reserved for flashbacks in the manga world. It gives
the impression of being a dark story before you even start reading. |
