The Story: This is a
carry on from the original Saiyuki Gensomaiden storyline, with new
adventures, These Volumes also contain episodes of what happened to Sanzo
after the death of Komyou Sanzo, and his growing up and becoming the bad
tempered bastard we know and love, also Goku's antics with Sanzo, and how
they became as close as they are, then following up with Gojyo and
Hakkai's shared tale and why Hakkai stayed with the red head after he
became Cho Hakkai, it also delves more in depth as to what's going on and
why.
It also introduces Hazel and Gat to the storyline, (they already appeared in
Saiyuki Reload Gunlock Anime)

| Why are the covers Different? |
I have no idea... the original
Japanese covers look like the one's from Singapore, maybe it was to make a
distinction between the three... |

Japanese covers? |
I only own a few of the Japanese books, so I
nicked them from Jpqueen.com, that's why they are smaller than the other
scans :P |
| Is there a difference in the
printing? |
1) Singapore/Japanese: large, have a flyleaf
cover and they have taken some of the Japanese out of the title pages,
also come with very nice Postcards *purrs*
2) English: Smaller in size, the paper isn't of a quality as the Singapore
one |
| What the Translation like? |

To get
an impression of what the difference is like I've scanned in the
first page of both manga's... the translations differ greatly just
from this page...
Also there is more swearing in the TP version where as the Chuang Yi
version uses lesser British slang words.
Also I noticed that the Chuang Yi translation must have been done by
someone who spent time, or is from, England.
The size of the scans are the size difference

| Is there anything else? |
This is something you have to make
up for your self, I think I'll just keep getting the Chuang Yi books, cost
they are a lot nicer things to own... *shrug* but it's up to you ^_^ |
