& 2) Redemption :: ~ :: ~ :: Double Bill |
Ok... Jonas Quinn, the guy from :: Meridian :: and the Death of
Daniel... is also the heathen to REPLACE HIM! as if!
I have to say I watched this with much trepidation, I was ready to
hate the up-start, umm... FUCK! who made Jonas so nice *cries* I
cant hate someone who's nice! BUT I can hate him for trying to fill
the space of Daniel, I think that's my only quibble, that they literally
made a POINT of Jonas filling Daniel's boots and then adding insult
to injury, try and make him BETTER than our beloved Daniel! unforgivable!...
but at least they limited the contact between Jonas and Jack, instead
Jonas made nice with Sam and Teal'c and Jack seems a bit pre-occupied...
They have made there own hyperspace ship thing, only Jack and Sam
couldn't get it to work, Anubis is attacking the Stargate trying to
get it to explode, Teal'c wife finally died (Teal'c might actually
GET some now) and his son is older still looking like an Apophis
look-a-like... In the Teal'c side story they know earth is being
attacked, so they go off to try and destroy the device, Teal'c and
Bra'tak get caught and Riya'c takes a joy ride in a glider and
destroys the thing attacking Earths Stargate... Sam has to put up
with the annoying prick, MacKay, who has a crush on her and after
coming up with tones of ideas that don't work, Jonas finally comes
up with the idea of taking the Stargate into hyperspace... they
strap the Stargate to their human made glider and Jack ejects as the
gate and new glider go into hyperspace and explodes... They get the
2nd gate of the Russians, finally and Jack decides to have Jonas on
his team... the end...
Despite the fact that Jonas wanders about with a note book in
hand all over the place, you also see him drinking from a huge
mug... but thank the heavens someone had some heart and you plainly
see that he's drinking tea!
Still... it's crap cause Daniel's not there!!!!! |

Decent :: ~ :: ~ :: |
Ugg like we couldn't see where this one was going from the end of
season 5, the only thing that was a surprise was that they
pulled this card so soon... That and Davis? isn't he a pen pusher
from the Pentagon? What the hell's he doing on a mission?
Anyhow, Anubis' ship is abandoned so they go to claim it... The auto
destruct is stuck, and half the ship is shut off. The "Red
Shirt" wearing noob Scientist get's Jack's scorn then stumbles
upon some NINJA JAFFA! oww yes we sunk that low... Anyhow the
Ninja Jaffa attack Jacob then ring off the Mother Ship to the ship
with Teal'c and Jonas on, Teal'c kills Ninja Jaffa but destroyed the
ring crystals, the return to earth, somewhere here the Mother ship crashes
in some Ocean or other But we don't see a thing, Teal'c and Jonas go
to save them in a sub and Jonas has some sob about Teal'c saving him
and Daniel saving him bla bla bla... The Mother ship is flooding.
they figure out that the PC system noise is a voice and they figure
out it's Thor, his consciousness is controlling the ship so they decide
to downloading him to a lap top, enabling the destruct sequence...
Sam, Jack and Teal'c stroll off to get Thor, and send everyone else
back to the sub, the self destruct goes off so they stroll out and
find there exit blocked, there only way out the glider bay... But
Sam cant get the force shield to work, so Jonas runs off and
underwater sorts it out then rings to the floor with the rest of SG1
and they escape in Gliders, and the SGC have two more gliders... the
end. *yawns*
The only good bit in this was the bit when Jonas ringed to
another level under water and when he got to a dry level there was a
nice bit of CGing... They spent to much putting most of the set
under water though, and not seeing the mother ship crash was a HUGE
let down >_<
Jack starts off being nice and sullenly quiet, his hate of
Scientists seemed to be reinstated, and his lack of interest in
Jonas was nice, until the fucker saved their lives and Jack got all
"ah I got'a like ya now" crap!
OK, so Jonas would have made a really good character IF he hadn't
come in the way he did! It is appalling the way they are handling it
so far!

Frozen :: ~ :: ~ :: |
OMG! We have "The Thing" meets that wench from "The Fifth
Element"
The go back to where they found the 2nd gate, they have dug up the 2
Jaffa and finally found a woman stuck in a block of ice... So they
pack SG1 off to have a look at the block of ice... oww and she's
MILLIONS of years old, there's something you don't see every day....
Then everyone starts getting sick and she cures them... ow ya and
she cant speak English! yaay! well anyway she cures everyone but
then when she goes to cure Jack she passes out... they all go back
to the SGC and the million year old wench dies... and seen as
Daniel's not there Jack had to do the horizontal thing and be unconscious...
the only way to save Jack no is to let a Tok'ra blend with him... So
they ask Jack...
This is where it starts getting REALLY Royally FUCKED UP!
At first he said "Over my dead body" which is rather astute
seen as he is just about to kark it!... but noooo... after Carter
explained that the Tok'ra had important info and that he would
rather die than stay in an unwilling host, Jack gives his consent
and they step through the gate...
Janet was in this one a lot which was nice!
And they left Jonas to speak to the alien woman? good job she could
finally understand them, they were buggered is she spoke Swahili or
something.
This episode leaves you with stupid questions that are only guessed
on and your not fussed if they aren't answered.
FFS! NOOO if this does happen with no adverse affects I am SO
going to be PISSED!!! it goes againced EVERYTHING that Jack is!

OMG!
This episode was so bad I'm not even going to review it...
'The Thing' with less snow cross with 'Invasion of the Body
Snatchers', throw in some Stephan Kings 'Tommy-Knockers' and you
have this episode, minus Jack...
the name of this episode should have been... ::
Abysmal ::
The only good thing... Sam got to slap Jonas... and, No, it doesn't
follow episode 4...

OMG! WOW!!
DANIEL's IN THIS ONE!!!
Finally Jack's back in the picture, running from some Jaffa...
The then get's nacked by the DHD and the symbeot that was inside his
slithers off like the nasty Tokra scum that it is, leaving Jack with
Bhal .
This bit over in one. Same, Teal'c and Jonas back at the SCG site
there theorising about crap, it's all very bringing! then by devine
'Daniel' intervention Teal'c get's the idea to tip off Yu about the
keep Jack's in.
Jack wakes up in a sarcophagus, then is dragged off to be stuck up
againced a wall that looks like a spiders web, where Bhal comes in
and begins kind of throwing daggers at him, then he wakes up in a
sarcophagus again then is put in a rather dinki room where the
gravity changes and the door becomes the ceiling and the back wall
the floor... but just when all he wants to do is pass out and he
sees this wench... Daniel appears! and he's wearing that lovely sweater
and trousers from :: Forever in a Day :: *drools*... but anyway, the
thing that all draws us to the Jack & Daniel spark was SO
there!!! Daniel has to fight with a desperate Jack and he cant help
him, but offers to help his ascend as he did (so they could be
together obviously!) The subtext in these parts is almost heart
rending, especially when Jack basically asks Daniel to kill him because
he doesn't think he's as good as Daniel and wont ascend, and all
Daniel wants is for Jack to become like he is! HELO! poor Danny!...
Jack get's tortured again then is left in his cell... Daniel's off
giving Teal'c Devine inspiration... Jack's being tortured again and
is finally reduced to reciting Daniels name! then back in his cell
he is at first worried that Daniel was gone, then proceeds to try
and blackmail Daniel into ending it other wise he's going to tell...
Then Yu attacks and Daniel has that special little smile thing going
on! Jack get's out and rescues the slave woman his symbiot was in
love with... Jack wakes up in a hospital bed then bitches at the
others that he wants to sleep and asks Sam to get him some water...
Then Daniel is with him in the SGC, he tells Jack he's going to be
OK, then Jack asks his he's going to be ok *gets really chocked up
and sappy* Jack also asks him if he's going to stick around, or come
back at Christmas or Ground Hog day (hello!, slashers get ya fingers
cracked here!) but alas Daniel reluctantly says no >_<... Then
Sam barges back in and Daniel is gone leavening Jack with a sappy
smile!
I was basically going to give up on SG1 season 6 all together
after last weeks episode, but I would have stuck it our till the
Daniel episode, but then would have stopped if the "Spark"
wasn't there between Jack and Daniel... boy was I SO giddy when this
episode came to a close! The play between them was enough to warm my
sappy little slashy heart!
I don't give a damn what anyone says! SG1 just in NOT SG1 without
Daniel, fuck Jonas, even Sam and Teal'c seem boring! The life has
gone out of the show, this episode proves it!
I ask anyone who thinks not to try and challenge me on this one!
Jack and Daniel Potential?:
So many I just got lost! this show was
everything I feared it wouldn't be! I'm SOOO Happy!

| 7)
Shadow Play :: ~ :: ~ :: |
| Ok this is a Jonas episode, and that's ok. They go back to his home
planet, they give Daniel a full pardon, yada yada... Anyhow, Jonas's
people are just about to go to war with the people over the border,
and they need the SGC's help to fight them off or something.
meanwhile one of Jonas's old teachers/fello scientist is saying that
there is some huge plot going down, some underground organisation
wanting to stop the war all together. Jonas is torn between helping
his old friend or going with his new friends... Then we see Kieran
(Jonas's friend) running about and with a lifeless seeming Jonas
helping him... anyhow Kieran get's shot and ends up at the SGC...
they find out that all the other scientists on the Naquadria bomb
all went missing but that it was cause they all went nuts... And
Kieran is doing the same thing, and that the whole resistant thing
was in his head, so much so that we see him talking to thin air
thinking that it's Jonas... the end
This would have been a good episode if not for the "It was
all a Dream" plot line that never bodes well. Also after the
shock of Daniel in the previous episode it was a bad move to have
even a figment Jonas running about almost looking like a bad guy,
this did nothing to make you sympathies with him. It started good
then ended badly.

The Other Guys :: ~ :: ~ :: |
This one was fun ^_^ the good old "Funny" episode and Jack
plays a big-ish part in this one...
SG1 are chaperoning 3 scientists on some sandy planet when suddenly
they are under attack. One of the scientists is thrilled and Hero
Struck by actually being with SG1, and when he sees his hero's
captured he refuses Jack's last order to go back to the gate and
with sending one of his men back through the gate he and his friend
go to save the day...
Meanwhile SG1 are in a cell on the Goa'uld ship and bored, Sam makes
some crack about Jonas not grinning seen as this is his first time
in a Goa'uld prison... Then the 2 nerds start busting them out. Jack
goes ape-spit at them, telling them that they wanted to get caught,
that they were on a mission to find Tok'ra spies and gain
info....
Anyhow, They find out that the Goa'uld that's captured them is
infact the Tok'ra spy with some of the Jaffa. The nerds who were
taken somewhere else. finally realise that something bad is going
down and move to bust out SG1 and save themselves.
They do this with some SG1 season 1 kind of luck.
Then they all go home thought the gate...
But wait!... it's not the end! it was all a... DAY dream! buy said nerd
who wanted to save the day...
Despite that it's a "It was all a dream", this was good
old SG1 writers at there best in such a crappy season, this one actually
had me giggling, and despite the fact Daniel's not in it, you really
don't care, at least Jacks in it, and beginning to got some of his
pepper back!
A good episode...

| 9)
Allegiance :: ~ :: ~ :: |
What's left of the Tok'ra, what left of the Jaffa from :: The
Warrior :: all on the SGC's Alpha site... This one isn't to bad
either, at least we see Teal'c getting some action...
Basically there is something or someone going around randomly
killing any of the three Alies... Putting the Tok'ra againced the
Jaffa and visa versa with the SGC personnel caught in the middle...
Finally the figure out it's someone out side the three groups doing
the killing... Bra'tac get's nacked and dragged off, leaving Teal'c
and the rest of the Jaffa angry and upset... Finally they realize
it's actually an Ashrak (Goa'uld Assassin) and that he has stealth
(invisible) capabilities. so they all band together to get him as he
runs about killing every one anyway. Sam comes up with some tech
gismo that will effect the Assassins do-hicki so that they can see
him and kill him. Well just when you think everything is about to go
dreadfully wrong the Ashrak get's shot and oww. it's Bra'tak to the rescue,
a bit bloody but at least Teal'c doesn't have to leave the SGC just
yet... Then they all go home.
This episode is kind of boring, the new Tok'ra just get one your nerves
(not like they didn't before). it has some suspense and Jack and
Teal'c actually DO something...
But the only bonus with this show is... Jaonas is kept on earth, I
guess it would have just been to complicated to eject him into the
old established plot, and to have anything explained to him would
have just been boring....

| 10)
Cure :: ~ :: ~ :: |
*sigh* ok so we are off world again and finally on some new planet
that isn't that bad and willing to give medical advice for the
like...
They have some cure for all ills... Teal'c and Jonas get a tip off
all isn't well by a female scientist/archaeologist. So hence as Sam
and Jack do the negotiation thing Teal'c and Jonas go to a building
and find tanks of Goa'uld Larva. Jonas falls into one taking one of
the planets guards with him. (Unfortunately Jonas doesn't get
Goa'ulded >_<) but the guard does. but when they drag him out
he's comatose and unresponsive. SG1 offer and get the Tok'ra to get
the sybiot out.
They get told that the larva came from a Goa'uld Queen they had
found on the dig site (Where they got the miracle cure from, oww and
where they found an Isis jar as in :: Curse :: But Jonas saw this in
the Females archaeologists Journal and he wouldn't know what it
was.) They found a Goa'uld inside and it was a Queen that they then
made give birth to larva. to make their cure.
Then the Tok'ra come to the planet and on seeing the Queen they go
skitso, it turns out that she is the Queen of the Tok'ra, imprisoned
on the planet by Ra himself... Anyhow, lots of filosofical crap
happens, the people on the planet didn't know who she was, the
Tok'ra want her back and SG1 don't know what the hell to do cause
Daniel isn't there (grits teeth) well the female Tok'ra goes to the
Queen and gives her life for her (as my bro said "How the hell
did she get in her head?")... she forgives the people for their
ignorance, then carks it, saying that she made her young non sentient
for a reason, so even the larva goa'uld they still have are useless
to the rest of the Tok'ra...
But with help somehow the people of the planet will be all right and
bla bla bla every one goes home....
This episode isnt so bad really, a bit slap dash. The blatant reference
to the Alien Queen from 'Aliens' just make you squerm. But as where
it's a good Jonas show, where we get to see more of him doing
something other than grinning is good... It also turns round and
kind of slaps you in the face that Daniel's not in it. Suddenly
Jonas can read Goa'uld off of a tomb wall, a Daniel thing. he almost
gets off with the pretty archaeologist, another Daniel thing.
And the most painful was the fact that this was an episode where
they NEEDed Daniel Conscience... The episode suffered from this and
made SG1 just look like they had no idea what they were doing, there
to supply nothing but extras.
And as for Teal'c all he did was grin at Jonas's antics. (Grits
teeth again)

Prometheus :: ~ :: ~ :: |
| First thing I have to say here is... Have they sold the Stargate on
e-bay by mistake or something? Why do we never see it anymore? has
it gone into Semi-Retirement like Anderson and Judge or what?
Another Reporter has evidence that the government is participating
in something called the "Prometheus Project" and she wants
answers...
So when it has basically nothing to do with the SGC, Sam and Jonas
are enlisted to show the Reporter and her film crew about...
Oww but the film crew is bad! when Sam and Jonas are showing the
reporter and her boss about, the film crew try and take over the
ship...
Sam goes looking to see what wrong on the seriously lacking security
ship, and get's caught in a room full of tech.
Jonas tries to lock the bad guys out of the computers, but then he
and the other two are cought also and shoved in a room, but it turns
out the boss was also in on it and helps the bad guys out.
Topside Davis is trying to negotiate when Jack turns up screaming
blue murder (ahh that pepper!)
The bad guys want Simmons and that Goa'uld he had. and dumb enough
they get them then take off in the ship that the Goa'uld fixed...
Simmons get's his comeuppance as the Goa'uld, being a little pissed
at what Simmons did to him tries to kill him.
Anyhow, Jack and Teal'c take of in one of their remaining Goa'uld
Glider things and enter the ship, where they have to face off to a
Simmons who now has the Goa'uld in him... and oww after kicking the
shit out of Teal'c and Jack, Jack opens the air lock sucking Simmons
into space (Where have I seen this a thousand times before?)... and
they have the new ship, but they have no idea where they are (oww
gods another 'Voyager' episode.. but then suddenly a new and
improved Thor turns up. Thanks them, then tells them that the
Replicaters have taken over the Asguard home planet and are royally
screwed...
This episode starts bad, and just when you thing it couldn't get
anymore worse... it does. the only up and interesting bit is when
Thor shows up in the last 3 mins... and Jack makes a crack.
Another disappointing episode. I just hope the Reporter gets it and
dies, after all it's that or her mid gets erased and that would just
be bad...

Unnatural Selection
(Prometheus II) :: ~ :: ~ :: |
Ok... So I was laughing on
the out set of this episode, some good old SG1 hummer... but it
didn't last as it divulged into a useless plot...
Thor reveals that from Reece (the creator of the Replicators, and
the SGC gave her body to them for research.) they gained some
Technology that could still communicate with the Replicators. The
they sent out a signal to all Replicators that they needed to
"Come" to a place where the Asguard put this do-hicki that
would slow down time within a certain aria, thus giving the Asguard
thousands of years to figure out how to kill them.
But no, the Asguard fucked up and are now asking the Taura to help
save their asses yet again...
Thor basically nicks their ship, the SGC's commissary supplies and
the whole of the armoury.
So SG1 find them selves on a planet that is made up of Replicator
blocks, they go down to see if they can fix the Asguard time thingi,
but are greeted by someone they weren't expecting. then more come.
They turn out to be what Reece was only more Replicator-like. They
tell SG1 to put their weapons down seen as they did no good anyhow.
then when one of them looks like they are being friendly they put
there hands in there heads and read there thoughts... Then they wake
up back on the ship to find the first Replicator human put them
there.
They all go to dinner with the Replicators and find out that in
trying to make No 5 (The kind one) they made him TOO Human, and so
keep saying he is flawed. Sam sees his humaness and manages to talk
to him in his own head, and he agrees to help them...
Then Jack proves just what a prick he is without Daniel to shout him
down...
Sam told No5 that they would take him with them, but he had to stay
behind until the Sam & Jack were on the ship, then he could
follow and by the time the other Relicators-humans would realize
what was going on it would be to late... but with Jack's order Sam
sets the timer to go off before No5 could make a run for it...
SG1 take off in the ship, and No1 tells No5 what had really
happened. So No5 isn't to happy that they dooped him as the time
goes off and everything slows down.
Jonas finally has a voice and tells Jack he was wrong, Sam agrees
them the episode ends...
The ending of this was painful...
Jack made a really BAD decision, and now instead on a way to stop
the Replicator once and for all they have created what promises to
be the Baddist Baddy anyone will have to face, jees put me in a cage
with a rabid and very pissed Apophis, I'd even take on Anubis rather
than No5! ouch! but then I guess this is what they were planning on!
Good start... bad ending >_<

| 13)
Sight Unseen ::~::~:: |
OMG, it's another doosy >_<.
Corin Nemec finally got to show us that 5 years experience of
reacting to nothing is a skill as he looks at giant bugs that no one
else can see and it would seem the Graphic ppl also made him not
see... I actually felt sorry for the guy, shame on the Graphics
team!
They bring a big glowing toy back through the gate... Jonas see's
things, Jonas is believed, then Jonas is labelled a loon. then
everyone starts seeing big bug. Carter pulls the plug. the whole of
the SGC base and Colorado springs starts seeing bugs, big men in big
trucks with big guns surround the aria. Guy from gulf war escapes
and Jack hunts him down. Carter and Jonas find out how to NOT see
bugs after traipsing through the gate a few times. no one sees bug.
Jack finds Gulf war guy, Jack tells him it's aliens... No one
anywhere sees bugs... and all this through touching someone with the
antidote the toy made...
The boring end...
I hope Chris Judge get's paid a lot for this series! the 13th
episode and all he did was tag along behind Jonas... GRINNING? I
hope that smile is cause he's getting a big fat pay check for doing
nothing! seriously I mean this whole heartedly, I WANT him to get
paid shit loads!

| 14) Smoke & Mirrors
::~::~:: |
Well this one must have been good, I can't remember it to do a
review :P oops!
|
| 15) Paradise Lost
::~::~:: |
| They find the Furlings!... oww wait, no we don't...
Maybourne turns up again with a Do-hicki, and it's something that
came from one of the four race's, the Furlings... He convinces Jack
that he'll help but only if they take him thought the Stargate with
them. so they agree but once they have the Do-hicki-key-thing,
Jack's about to stab him in the back, till he tells them that they
can't cause he's the only one with the combination to open the thing
they found...
So they go off world with Maybourne. Carter puts the key into the
lock but it wont work, then they let Maybourne have a go, he wrestles
a Zat gun of Carter, Zats her then holds her hostage as he opens the
portal they think will lead them to the Furlings, taking the key
with him, Jack jumps in right after and they find themselves in a
middle of an empty meadow.
Carter and Teal'c are a bit distraught by this and they have the
Tokra out in ships looking for them, they find nothing on where they
think they are. There is a rather touching moment between Sam and
Teal'c where Sam brakes down, saying she just lost Daniel and
loosing Jack to was to much and Teal'c hugs here (grins).
Meanwhile, Jack and Maybourne find a small dwelling that's smothered
in skeletons.
No Furling's... Maybourne keeps eating this plant as Jack Fish's for
his supper... Maybourne get mundo paranoid and keeps trying to kill
Jack... Jack finally eats some of the same plant and he ends up
shooting Maybourn thinking he's some big wild boar, just after
setting off a Grenade trap and getting shrapnel in his leg.
So Jack hobbles about. (the camera work is quite nice and the
paranoid mood is sweet!)... Jack figures out that it's the plant
sending them tonto and that is how all the Furlings died, they
killed each other. The Goa'uld couldn't take any weapons to the
planet, so they sent a paranoid delusions plant to do their work for
them! Worked a teat.
So finally Jack shoot's Maybourne again to lay him out, and
Maybourne confesses that he came on this one way trip cause he had
nothing left on Earth.
Meanwhile Carters figured out that they weren't sent to another
planet but to the MOON that orbited the planet they were on, it was
there in the first images they had from the planets surface and
cloaked when they activated the portal.
Jack's sat over Maybourne when a Tok'ra ship flies in to rescue
them... The end
I have to say I rather enjoyed this one too. And I've always love
the play between Jack and Maybourne (out of the NID)...
A really good show and all thumbs up to this one! even if the
Furlings we've all been waiting for are all dead.
|
| 16) Metamorphosis ::~::~:: |
Finally we get to see another Russian team in the SGC and
looking a little less anal that the last lot. But they brake the
rules and bring back an alien that soon disintegrates after telling
them Nirrti is experimenting on his people and killing them. SG1 and
the Russians go to the planet and the deformed locals tell them she
is helping them and to bugger off, but wait the said aliens have
ESP! and soon capture Teal'c and Jonas. Then Nirrti shows up and
zaps Carter then threatens Jack with her.
When waiting in there cells the head Russian guy is thrown in with
them and Sam is taken away to be put into a tube thing where Nirrti
experiments on her, meanwhile the Russian has exploded from what
she's doing. So Sam's fucked and they take Jonas away. But Jonas isn't
affected by what Nirrtu does to him and finds himself on her bed
where she tries to seduce him, but he's having non of it.
Sam's getting worse as Jack is taken away, he manages to convince
the Alien who can read minds to read Nirrtu's, he does this
reluctantly because they think she's helping them. He finds out the
truth that she's actually using them then will kill them all, and
the alien who can manipulate things with his mind and he swiftly brakes
her neck, The mind reading Alien took what he needed to cure his
people from her mind before she karked it. they cure Sam and they
all go home.
This is another good episode, we see Jack taking out a Jaffa with
one shot! Suddenly we are more intrigued by what and WHO Jonas actually
is, a lot of hinting that he just isn't normal and damn it I want to
know why! Despite the fact Sam and Jack get all mushy Sam and Teal'c
share a particularly telling "Look" moment that had me
grinning. And now the poor Russians must be quacking in their boots
if they have to go off world with SG1, they may as well wear read
shirts and a Star Trek logo!

| 17) Disclosure
::~::~:: |
*Puts head in hands and cries*
Just when ya think things are looking up... you get a buggering CLIP
SHOW!!!!
So finally the SGC is disclosed to the Chinese, English and
someone else? (don't know if it was Brazil or South Africa?)
The English guy keeps his head an questions reasonably everything
they are saying straight out.
The Chinese guy just argue that they should make the SGC common knowledge,
The other guy don't say much...
The Russian Guy (ya they already know about the gate) have the right
idea to leave the Stargate with the US so that they have to loos
millions on running the SGC, millions more on making and building
the tech, and then they get the Blue prints! (Smart thinking from
someone in power me thinks ^_~)
But then Mackenzie comes in and say's they should give the Stargate
over to the NID... Like hell....
Anyhow, lot's of clips where for the first 40mins they cut Daniel
out all together, but we do get to ogle over a VERY nice picki of
him over Davis's shoulder for a bit...
But basically.... a damn clip show, and not interesting clips at
that...
The only members of the SGC are Davis and Hammond, (I Think the
others are on holiday)
But just at the last second, Thor shows up *grins* and tells them
all straight that the Asguard would "Prefer" it if the
Stargate stayed in the hands of the Air Force, and pulls rank on
Mackenzie, I think Jack's had to much influence on him :P Then
everyone agrees that they should leave the Stargate as is...
A good ending to a pointless show...
|
| 18) Forsaken
:: ~ :: ~ :: |
Ok another "Good Alien, Bad Alien, oww no we got it back
to front!" episode... but it's was ok.
SG1 end up on a planed with that guy from "Poltergeist the
Legacy" and they offer to fix their ship in good relations. but
they are being attacked by some other reptile (rejects from
'Enterprise') type alien.
Sam starts getting chatted up by one of the aliens, and I'm
surprised she wasn't throwing up all over him.
But they keep trying to shoot the reptile aliens but SG1 are a
little iffy on this fact and instantly Jack is distrusting them,
they find out the the ship is a prison ship and the humanoids were
Celtic or something... ahh hell this was a medico episode where you
just didn't care what happened just so it isn't another clip show...
Jack was in it loads but no witty comments were forth coming, but he
did do that one shot thing again... Jonas managed to not piss us
off, and he proves that he isn't Daniel in Jack's eyes as he has to
convince Jack to lower his weapons when the humanoid aliens are
holding him hostage...
well... only 3 more episodes before Daniel's back for good!

WEEEE!!!!!!!
Another "Let's Ogle at Daniel" episode!
Teal'c... oww no, T-man is a Fireman??? the whole of SG1 is
working for the Fire Department? T-man has to give up a kidney for
Bray (Bry'tak)??? Where's the gold thing on his head? where's the
pouch?
Ok so this episode just has you stunned as you start watching then
you think your watching some strange AU fict or something!
Teal'c/T-man keeps having dreams, both seem to real that he cant
tell the difference! one second he's a fireman, the next he's in the
SGC's infirmary being ill? then there's a clip where he's on some
world with Bra'Tak and lots of dead Jaffa?
And Apophis keeps showing up!
Then... Daniel shows up as T-man's councillor? (who cares, he just
looks so HOT!) He dishes out Advice to T-man while hinting that all isn't
well...
Anyhow, he last time T-man talks to Daniel, Daniel actually calls
him Teal'c and tell him all is well...
Finally Teal'c steps through the Stargate with Bra'tak, He was on a
planet with rabble Jaffa when they were attacked and with only one
symbiot to share with his mentor he struggled back to the Gate with
Daniel's ethereal help. Teal'c was keeping himself and Bra'tak alive
with swapping one symbiot between them... and all's not looking good
for Bra'tak!
But Sam's Dad shows up with a magic new drug *refer to :: Cure ::*
that lets Teal'c wander around without Junior!
For the end of this episode refer to :: Abyss :: it's exactly the
same, just better cause it's Jack and not Teal'c *grins*
A great Teal'c episode, and all you AU fans out there!!! even if
Daniel wasn't in it, it still would have been great!,
Daniel should keep his hair like that *grins* and he's still wearing
THAT sweeter!
Only downside... Jack and Daniel AU don't even meet >_<

Memento :: ~ :: ~ :: |
Ahh getting back to the good old day plots lines!
SG1 are the experienced (if bored) crew of the SGC's new flying,
home made "Mother Ship" that Jack managed not to destroy.
But they hit a problem, the engine went boom and they be stuck light-years
away from anywhere, even the Asguard don't show up to help... jack
and the Captain of the ship don't get along to well, bit of a Alpha
Male head butting... They find a planet that might have a gate and
head for it, but right over it they have to eject their engine and
watch it go boom. where the people on the planet see it as the
threat and attack, but oops, they have no shields. Jack managed to
convince the people to stop their weapons and let them land.
So they land surrounded by tones of balloon's with big guns pointing
at them. the natives are nice if to much like us... But the leader
is a nice guy and as always his General is a gun toting prick.
anyhow the find the Stargate and dig it up like they did on Earth,
lovely bit of filming... then the gun toting prick decides to coup
and take the Stargate back (though it's not gone anywhere). the the
peeps of the SGC go with their big ship and loom ominously over them
till all is well and everyone, but the gun toting loony, is happy.
The "Good" End!
Summing up?... this was a good old SG1 story that I really
enjoyed...

*Blinks in Stunned silence...
Screaming NO on the inside!*
Ok, so watching this episode I lost what little I
had of my nails *I mean this literally,*
Abydos is about to be attacked by Anubis for the "Eye of
Ra".
Jacks in a elevator and Daniel pops up *Grins happily* and tells him
that he has to go back to Abydos and find the eye before Anubis.
They have some Jack and Daniel Bantering, where Jack sounds a little
bitter that Daniel doesn't DO more.
Jack tells Hammond that he saw Daniel and Teal'c also confirms he
has. Sam seems a little put out but they go to help the Abydonians
anyway.
They look through this place beneath the gate room in the pyramid on
Abydos (something that hasn't been mentioned in the last 5 years)
Jack get's a little ticked that they cant find it and knowing Daniel
was there calls him out. Daniel is like I cant until Jack tells him
to cross that line.
Daniel does so without a mufter of sorts. And then basically leads
them all the the secret room as Anubis finally starts attacking.
Daniel finds a tablet and realises that he's actually become one of
the ancients. and that what ever happens they should keep the tablet
safe cause it has the location to some HUGE weapon. then he disappears.
Sam and Jonas find the Eye of Ra.
Daniel goes to face Anubis, telling him that if he tries anything he
will stop him, then Anubis shows Daniel what he really is. A Goa'uld
that managed to ascend but was sent back but not completely.
Mean while SG1 and Ska'ra are stuck in the secret room with the eye
of Ra and tones of Jaffa out side, Jakc sticks a tone of semtex to
the eye and threatens them with it. Ska'ra being shot, dies and
ascends before them.
Daniel is still threatening Anubis, when all the other Goa'uld
system lords come a calling with Yu at their head. They want him to surrender
or they will kill him.
Daniel makes a deal with Anubis saying that he will give him the eye
is he leaves the Abydonians alone and leaves.
Daniel appears to SG1 again telling them about everything and convinces
Jack to hand over the Eye. Even though he's being watched by Oma
Daniel doesn't care.
Jack hands over the Eye and they start to leave.
Anubis get's the Eye and his ship transforms. the rest of the System
Lords attack but Anubis's ship had mundo shields and starts firing
back at all the mother ships surrounding him destroying most of
them, then he goes to destroy Abydose and Daniel faces up to him.
Doing an impressive thing with light's, but just before he strikes
all his power gets sucked back and he disappears. Anubis's first prime
is like "You are great!" but it wasn't Anubis that did it
to Daniel.
Them Anubis Destroys Abydose as Jack's just about to step through
the gate, there is nothing left of the Abydonians but clothes.
They then try to reconnect with they Abydose gate but cant.
They have a briefing where Sam thinks Daniel is truly gone cause he wouldn't
let anything happen to the Abydonians. Jack doesn't look to happy.
They keep trying to get though to the Gate when they finally make a connection
and nothing wrong, SG1 go and everything is like it was, the meet
Ska'ra in hi village, who tells them they are all fine but they haven't
seen Daniel. Then suddenly the village and all it's people are gone
and Ska'ra tells them that they must travel their path and that the
Gate will stay until they leave, then he disappears and SG1 head
home...
The End of Season 6 *cries*
Jack and Daniel Potential?:
Mostly Jack seemed a little pissy
about Daniel not being there. But Daniel only focused on Jack when
they were together, he basically ignored Sam, had no run-ins with
Teal'c and bitched at Jonas. This when he wasn't Anubis biting,
seems when he ascended he also went up a notch from his Goa'uld
Bating to Ancient-wanabe bating....
Jack once again does everything Daniel asks him with only slight
bitching, but hey his Best Friend don't write anymore!
When Jack demands Daniel appears to them, he does call
him a "Son of a Bitch" so I guess he was getting his own
back for :: Menace ::
Daniel when first appearing to them all say's high to everyone BUT
Jonas? hummm... slight jealousy there?
But who cares... DANIEL WAS IN IT A LOT!
