| SG1 in another universe entirely this time, and stuck facing Apophis
on a naff ship packed with Replicators... Sweet... Teal'c is
wandering around thinking that he's still First Prime of Apophis.
they shoot Teal'c then tie him up on a little cargo ship, then shoot
the mother ships engines to hell then get out'a there... oww ya and
did I forget to mention, Apophis goes out with a pathetic "ppfffft..."
then end of Apophis and his new minions, hurra *yawns* and Teal'c's
still being strange!!
Jack and Daniel potential? Hum...
ah it's not that bad really, some nice play between the 2 and some
nice looks and Daniel watching Jack's back and standing close to him
at every given opportunity, basically inseparable in this episode!

| 2) Threshold ::

| Teal'c is still Ga-Ga, and Bra'tac pulls out Teal'c's symbiot after
knocking him out in a rite called M'al Sharran, that will either
bring the old Teal'c back, pre-Apophis brain frying, or kill him,
but it's not like it's worked before :P... Anyhow, Bra'tac tells
them to talk to him while he has mager flashbacks of his past and
how he became first Prime and what not... And this is the episode
where he gives Daniel a complex about being a woman, hum not like
Jack doesn't agree! Well all ends well that starts bad, at least
this episode has some amusing bits in it! and ya, Teal'c pulls
through, like I even need to say it :P
Jack and Daniel potential? Owww Yes, Some lovely play between Jack and Daniel who seem to spend
all their time together, even sitting over Teal'c together and
having little cute arguments (Look in SG1 Quotes!) also the great
bit where Daniel frets over Teal'c calling him a woman and Jack doesn't
even argue! Great verity of "Looks" between the two...

"*Sing Song* Carter an' AnEtherealBeing sitting in a tree!
K,I,S,S,I,N,G!" or building Stargate with Toasters with ever
comes first, hey?
Carter passes out on a planet after playing with something tall long
and very red *grins*... after coming back everyone thinks she's
nuts, seeing things and exhausted and is forced to go back to her yuppie
boring "girly" house... She got it easy they normally
stick Daniel in a) a hospital bed with straps or b) a straight
jacket and a padded room when he looses it... But Sam has another
admirer who makes gems in the microwave and max's out her credit
cards on the internet, ow ya and he's Ethereal... anyhow Q *oops to
much Next Gen :P* decides to have her surveillance and then they go
in with all guns blazing and he and Sam bugger off through a make
shift Stargate in her basement all to stop the silly SGCers setting
off the weapon that destroyed everyone... Well Orlan ascends again
and Sam's not nuts...
Oww ya... Orlan just happens to belong to something VERY simpler to
the "Q Continuum" I recon they nicked those lines!
Jack and Daniel potential?
Not much, just some subtle stuff like when Jack offers to stay
with Sam where as if it was Daniel he wouldn't even have asked, just
been there... And when Sam tries talking to Jack before he goes
to the loo, now is it me but he didn't look like he was going for a
wee, Either Daniel was on the other side of that door or Jack had a
stiffy so big it was obvious ^_~

| 4) The Fifth Man

Jaffa, Jaffa every where... and Daniels the only one to get shot
with a Zat by friendlis... Good old Danny...
Anyhow, SG1 come back without Jack from a planet where they were
under heavy Jaffa fire. Only Jack isn't alone, Tyler the fifth and factitious
member of SG1 is with him.

OOP! Sam was mistaken and SG1 have
cored a worlds sun to go super nova and turned the sky red... But
wait, it's an Asguard Guarded Planet!... umm but the little grey
aliens don't want to help cos they might brake the treaty they have
with the Goa'uld... There is a religious nutcase local who foils the
SG1's planes to send a rocket into the sun and sends Jack into
MURDER mode, lucky Daniel's there to calm him down! Then Sam saves
the day using the Stargate! (continuity error here I think)... But
as the locals sit praying, Daniel adds his own lament after Jack
tried telling um that God didn't exist and WUMP the Sky turns the
right colour!
Not enough emphasis though on they way Daniel did this seen as I'm surprised
the locals didn't start fawning over him as a messenger of god or
something! no fair!... Also, SG1 Elf's? riiiight!
Jack and Daniel potential? Ummm...
it's season 5 what the hell do you want! nothing to right home about

| Cassandra is going through an alien
Puberty, and suddenly gains ESP along with passing out, busting
light bulbs and floating chess peaces! She keeps bitching she wants
to go back to the planet she came from, only SG1 find out that all
the kids on that planet went through the same thing... owww look the
whole planet was used as a giant Goa'uld genetic experiment, THAT's
why they were wiped out then, durr stupid us... Then they find a
Goa'uld on base who wants to use Cassy as a host cos she's like
special bla bla bla, they make a bargain and the Goa'uld helps Cassy
then they throw her threw the Gate... the thankful end..

5 again... nothing...

Beast
of Burden ::

| Daniel pet Unas from :: The First
Ones :: has been captured by some ugly American west guys and he
uses his charm to go and save his pet Chaka... Jack and Daniel say
they are traders on a planet where Unas are used as beast's of
Burden (durr such an original name) but when then they try to save
Chaka they are captured to and thrown in jail, Sam and Teal'c are
left to umm, wander about... Chaka seems to communicate with the
other Unas... anyhow they all brake out and it turns out that Chaka
was actually trying to save them not the other way around, Chaka
manages to fire a staff weapon and then refuses to go back to where
he came from, wanting to free his people. Daniel gives him a Zat-gun
and SG1 go home... Another fine mess though the locals did have a
good argument ^_~

for a change a lot, some nice battling back and forth opinions like
they used to have, only by the end of the episode Daniel and Jack
have a roll reversal in there argument... also When Jack is being
tortured Daniel gets a little protective in his own cell. Not bad
considering... *Grins*

The
Tomb ::

| SG1 find a tomb, but they find they
were not the first one's there... The Russians are using there Stargate
to, So in a joint effort they go back with some Stereotyped Russians
and Daniel opens the tomb... when inside they find the remains of
the Russian team and a sarcophagus that had been sealed then pried
open with a body inside... There is a nasty eating thing wandering
about inside the tomb with them... They kill the creature only to
find that the Goa'uld left it... so they now expect each other of
being the Goa'uld... Oww but it's the grim faces commy! In short, 2 Russians
get killed (thought they weren't bad people! yaay!) one gets injured
and the other gets blown to smithereens as SG1 and the female Russian
escape with a ring transporters. The End
Jack and Daniel potential? Humf,
no wonder I didn't get into this whole SG1 thing until seeing the
reruns of season 3!

The Warrior ::

There is this Jaffa that's doing what Teal'c should be doing with
the Jaffa that want to die free... So they toddle off to see this
guy and his people trying to form an alliance seen as their old allies
are all dead or thinning... They take weapons, food and stuff...
they have a look about and Jack don't like the fact that the guy
leading the Jaffa is all but trying to be a god, making his people
think that "Victory or Death" is the best way to go...
There is an "Alpha Male" struggle between Jack and Kytano
(The leader of the rebel and was first prime of Imhotep) mostly over
Teal'c who's loyalties seem to waver between the two, after all
Teal'c wishes to free his people and Kytano is doing that... Teal'c
goes on a mission though Jack tells him not to and is captured by Yu
(Is is me or is Yu basically a good Goa'uld in a strange kind of
way?) who tells him a secret about Kytano then sends him back to
where he came from. Teal'c challenges Kytano and when they Jaffa
knocks sever kinds of shit out of Teal'c he tells him he is actually
Imhotep trying to take over the system lords as a rebel seen as he
had no Jaffa of his own, nice plant but seen as he's a Goa'uld was
to power hungry to take it nice and easy.
Teal'c kills him and they all flee as Yu attacks...
I like this episode, the twist at the end was nice and the whole
"Alpha Male" thing is always good.
Jack and Daniel potential?
Hum,
so so, nothing special... This is a Teal'c episode with Jack pulling
his pack leader card on Teal'c.

| You practically see the moment Jack becomes a royal TWAT!
SG1 are on some destroyed planet find a girl robot and with the
words "Can we keep it?" works and they take her home. They
wake the robot kid up and Daniel works his charm on her and she
makes him a toy, a Replicator Toy... She destroyed her own planet
when the people wanted to destroy her and the explicators she
created no longer listened to her and she went to sleep when
everyone was dead... She tries to leave thinking that they want to
kill her, Daniel tries to get her trust and in trying to turn her
off she got mad, then he screams the truth at her but that he still
wants to be her friend, that she should go to sleep again and he
would wake her up himself... only at that moment the gate room door
is broken open and Jack jumps in and shoots her instead.
Jack and Daniel potential?
Jack
not only say's really NASTY stuff to Daniel but when he shoots the
Robot Girl he walks away from a distraught and crying Daniel in the
Gate room! Unforgivable! this is the moment where the worm REALLY
turns!

The Sentinel ::

| oops, those old Maybourn guys fucked up a planets
defences that SG1 have to try and fix, they pull the two bad guys
that did it out of death row and take them back to the planet. Jack
goes to try and convince the leader that they have to leave, just
after the Jaffa threatened them. Daniel, Sam, Teal'c and the 2 bad
guys try to get the Sentinel to work, and Daniel shows of his
dismissive intelligence and get's them past the first force field...
Jack get's tied up and used as the hostage. They find out that the Sentinel
needs a human component, one of the bad guys gets fatally shot and
the other fakes it to the jaffa and in so doing becomes part of the shield
protecting the planet. All the Jaffa get umm, disappeared. and they
all go home, almost.
Jack and Daniel potential?
Umm, not to bad considering the last episode, but nothing to right
home about, Daniel proves he's worth all him PhD's... oww and then
there is the bit at the end where Daniel runes over to Jack and
begins untying him from his bonds *grins* He looks rather
experienced in this! tehe *winks*

| NOOOODEARGODNOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
But yes... This is were our
beloved Daniel bites the proverbial bullet... umm kind'a... It's
also an episode in the 5th series where Jack's actually being NICE
to a dieing Daniel, go figure... But get your hankies and a big tub
of ice cream girls... this one is a tear jerker, even I wasn't immune
to this episode!!!
Daniel saved a world from being
blown to bit's by man handling something power fuller than a nuke...
and is now melting...
The planet is now trying to say Daniel was trying to sabotage the
whole thing and want his blood... Jack is wandering around screaming
blue murder and will not let ANYONE holed Daniel responsible, even
if their own government who is willing to let it slide for some
Naquada stuff... Daniel while melting is whisked off to a higher
plain to be convinced of his worth and that HIS fight isn't over
even if his body is...Finally when Carters Dad is trying to heal
Daniel, Daniel brings Jack to his higher plain and explains to him
that he's moving on and asks Jack to get them to stop, Jack after a
little hesitation does... then Daniel says his goodbyes to Jack and ascends...

Like I said Jack is nice to Daniel,
finally realizing what he's loosing... He admits to Daniel that he's
come to "admire" him (ya right, love I think the word
is!)... Jack is the one Daniel turns to and asks basically to let
him die, maybe cause he knows that Jack really does love him enough
to let him go ^_~... also Jacks the only one Daniel really says
goodbye too...

Nothing but a puff of air?!?!?!?!?!
Who cares... Daniel's dead, the Goa'uld are more powerful, Anabas is
finally on the seen, the Asguard are dieing with only one hope. everyone's
a little sad... the end... *grits teeth*
This is a seriously crappy episode normally only reserved for full length
features... I'm being bitter? owwww yes!
Jack and Daniel potential?
Ya,
there is a little JD action... Despite the fact Jack's being the
hard man... at the end the comment from Sam "it's like he's
still around" when she and Teal'c get a blast in the face...
then a close up on Jack and his own special puff of air and the sick
smile... This also could be an aging and insecure Richard D Anderson
finally getting rid of his younger competition *grits teeth again*
